La Frida Cubana is the Monday-night home of Montuno Club, a community-driven Salsa Cubana crew that believes dancing should be accessible to everyone regardless of budget, language, or experience. The night runs in a bar setting rather than a formal studio, so the atmosphere stays loose: people grab a drink, learn a move, meet someone, and dance. It opens with a 7 PM workshop including a Salsa From Zero beginner class led by DJ Alösha, who then spins Salsa Cubana and Bachata Dominicana, with animation from Celeste keeping the energy up. Entry is just 5 euros at the door.
Frida sits at Leopoldstraße 13 in Schwabing, one of Munich's most central and lively districts, easy to reach by U-Bahn. Because Montuno Club is built around free beginner lessons and a no-partner-needed ethos, this night is one of the friendliest entry points to Latin dancing in the city, and English-friendly too.
